“A REMINDER-
Each science has its own principles and laws upon which it is based, and each is founded on the orderliness of existence. But for that orderliness in existence, there would have been no laws or sciences. Secondly, certain pleasures and love are found in the basic purposes and benefits appointed for life, such as eating, drinking, and marriage. (For example, the basic purpose of marriage is reproduction, but the pleasures provided by love for one’s spouse and love for one’s children are the pleasures included in this purpose.) If we can see the Divine favor in this single fact of life, we can easily understand that there is nothing useless or extraneous in existence, and we can perceive that Prophethood, upon which the most fundamental purposes of existence or creation are centered, is indispensable for human life and existence. If there were no Prophethood, humanity would have come from a chaotic world and this world would have been thrown into complete chaos.”
This is the end of the section of Messengership in general. This reminder is a conclusion and conclusions do not need proofs as they must have been demonstrated before.
Orderliness of existence has its endless signs out there. The order of the universe is perfectly working, and it does not change. Based on this orderliness, the author gives the example that nothing in this universe is futile. Example: animals and human beings take care of their children and in this relationship, they have love for their spouse. This is an order in the universe where love takes place, but it is supported by other motivation i.e. created beings are provided with some sort of pleasure out of this relationship. Everything is perfectly arranged. Prophethood is also a part of this existence.
Summary of what we have been talking about “Messengership”:
Universe is meaningful, human beings are conscious beings and conscious human beings ask questions about the meaning of existence and the meaning that the universe provides. Human consciousness asks: “there is meaning in creation and existence of the universe, but what am I going to do with these feelings, I cannot deny it?”
- There is meaning and wisdom in the existence of everything.
- What am I going to do with it?
- I do not know.
- The existence of the whole universe is meaningful as well, not only the parts in it. The meaning refers to something beyond the capacity of this universe. The meaning refers to something not of the universe.
- Human consciousness is aware of the existence of the meaning but at the same time this consciousness does not know what do to with it: Why is the universe so meaningful? Do we know?
Comment: There must be a purpose to it. That is why we are here in this universe to find out.
You cannot find it out here in this universe. The meaning refers to something not related to this universe. You cannot attribute meaning to matter itself for matter cannot be the producer of the meaning; meaning is not of the nature of matter. What are you going to do?
Comment: You can draw a conclusion about something not of the nature of this universe based on what you experience.
The meaning does not point to the universe. The universe refers to something to which I can attribute meaning to. There is no way to know about what this something is without Prophet-hood. We can only say that it is mysterious and the best we can conclude is that this universe is strange, and it must have something beyond it. What is that? No signs of it.
Everything in the universe is perfect. Hurricane or earthquake does not happen chaotically, it happens within an order. People take perfection to human expectations. We are not defining perfection with the various difficulties in our lives. Existence itself is perfect is the point. Illnesses are taking place within an order. Nothing is accidental. Nowadays, it is clear to human beings to find out the sex of the baby. Example: a baby’s heart has a hole in it, would you like to carry on with the pregnancy? The baby and its heart are being created within a perfect order, not accidental. They say that it has to do with the structure of DNA, but it is still happening within a perfect order to which DNA is also subject to.
- We must make the distinction between what does it mean for the universe to be created perfectly.
- It means that in its existence, everything is perfect. The existence of everything is taking place in a perfect way. Even the existence of a cancer cell is perfect.
- Everything is employed here to carry me a message about my reality i.e. who I am as a conscious being.
- Existence of hurricane and earthquake is perfectly taking place within an order. If you miss one word, you miss understanding the “perfection” part.
Thinking that the Creator is outside the universe is meaningless because human mind cannot think of outside the universe. What we can conclude rationally is that the Creator cannot be of the nature of this universe because my mind cannot limit existence to the nature of this universe. Human mind can understand this. When you say outside the universe, they say that it is just imagination and you lose the argument. You must think about it and be stuck in this language of “not of the nature of this universe”, otherwise you lose yourself.
To give a simple example to understand this matter: Every human mind reading a book definitely refers the meaning expressed in the book to something which is not of the material nature of the book. There must be an intelligent source with a free will who must have put a particular meaning to the material side of the book. No one can ever claim that the paper of the book or the traces of the ink is the source of existence of the meaning. We can liken the traces of the ink to DNA of the living beings.
Comment: Prophethood is necessary because we cannot really conclude with confidence the existence of a Creator that is not of the nature of this universe. Without being told, the notion of Absolute Creator remains mysterious.
According to human capacity and according to what we are observing in the universe, there are endless contradictions and the problem of these contradictions needs to be solved because human consciousness is aware of the existence of the contradiction. Human beings want Eternity and Perfection as far as human expectations are concerned. There is no Eternity and Perfection within the universe as far as human expectations are concerned, not as far as existence itself is concerned. If you do not realize this difference, you go back to your previous culture.
Comment: Perfection can be seen in the existence itself. Perfection can be seen in the orderliness of things. However, I may dislike something and may not desire that thing for myself. Just like a snake, I am not criticizing its existence, but I do not wish to be with the snake in my home. Before I project that this snake is perfect in its existence, I must investigate the existence of that snake before I conclude anything about it. I cannot project this ideology that every existence has purposefulness up until I investigate and conclude with that. In that conclusion, I then make that claim that there is meaning in existence.
Since my consciousness is aware of it and my consciousness requires the meaning and perfection in the existence, then there must be something. Atheists also claim that the universe in its order is perfect and a few some try to make explanation of perfection by referring it to accidents, while others are aware that it is mysterious and so both of these groups busy themselves with studying the order. They all admit that the universe is meaningful, and its existence is perfect and mysterious, but I am busy with studying the perfect order. However, human beings keep asking, what is the purpose in the existence of such a perfect creation or universe?
- When I come to myself:
- What is the purpose in my existence?
- What am I going to do with my existence because it is full of unexplainable qualities that we have? You are perplexed.
When someone claims that the Creator of this universe told me to tell human beings that there is a Conscious Being behind the existence of this universe, then you start thinking: is it possible? If you start reasoning about it (trying to make sense of it), then you go back to the meaning of the existence of the things whether they refer to the existence of an Absolute Being, not because the Prophet said so. Go back to the universe because you just heard this concept now.
Let’s say a person is born in the society that has an administrative body. This person as a child wonders how everyone (the community) agreed on the same principle, to obey the rules and regulations. Someone who has experienced before or heard of it, say that there is an administration here and there are people here who implement the law and every member of this society are obliged to follow this law. They agreed on it, it is a common agreement.
Every community no matter how primitive they are, have their own rules. Let’s say the child did not know that such an administrative body exists and there must be an authority behind it. Then, the child starts thinking and questioning which kind of administration it is, how do they implement the principles they have and which kind of regulations this society needs to go along with peaceful life at the society level, then further questions take place. However, to know about something which is not within the universe, human beings must hear it first and then reflect about its reasonability to confirm what they have heard..
- That is why, we understand that there must be such a Being who gave existence to this world and this Being must be an infinitely Wise One because He created me with this capacity to ask and conclude that It is mysterious i.e. I cannot explain it by myself and so He must teach me His Self and His Qualities. That make sense. That is the conclusion of the Necessity of Prophethood or Messengership.
“The Creator of the universe”, we conclude after hearing the message from the Messengers. Yes, the Creator who gives existence to this universe must tell me that He is such a Being that exist and how should I use the universe, how to implement the peace in the society by using a sort of regulation. We need that, and it makes sense only after we are taught. Those people who are bewildered at the perfection of the order in the universe, they see that it is mysterious, and the order is perfectly working so we must benefit from it for the sake of this universe only.
- If someone does not want to accept the mission of the Messengership, he can go only this far: “The order of the universe is perfect, human life is meaningful, but everything is mysterious. We need to use the universe because we need it and we are utilizing it and making our life standards higher, so we should carry on”.
If someone does not take the institution of Prophethood into account, this person cannot solve any existential problem. If someone does not think that s/he needs a Prophet, this person cannot have any religion i.e. an explanation referred to God. This person keeps mixing up things with what they hear in the culture and just say that I believe in God only not religion as such. This is very common. Whatever a community claims to be (Jewish, Muslim or Christians…), they are equal in this regard. If any member of these communities do not follow the teachings of a Prophet employed by God, they will never have any connection with this God, they may have just social activities with no purpose in their existence.
- Unless you feel the presence of a Prophet, you cannot have a religion.
- What do you mean by religion?
- A life organized by the Creator under the instruction of the Messenger He employed to teach the meaning of existence.
People may claim that they are Muslims, Christians… which may mostly imply that they are Deists. They cannot deny God, but they do not want to follow the instructions of God in their life because they do not take Prophethood into account for their own lives.
- Most of the people are Deists, regardless of any religion.
We want to get out of Deism (rather than believing in God as the Creator of the universe and following your life according to your human instinct, not religion). What is religion again?
- Living in connection to God under the instruction of a Messenger appointed by God.
Without Messenger, you cannot have religion. Is the Prophet in your life?
People who follow St. Paul think that they are following the teachings of Jesus whom some deem as an aspect of God. Just as Muslims believe Muhammad as Messenger of God and do what they want in their personal lives. Concept of Prophethood does not exist in Christianity, but only in Hebrew bible. If you do not have a Prophet in your life, then you can have a savior by laying your faith in him/her rather than following his instructions. PLEASE note that the savior is not a Prophet brining message from God to you.
- A Prophet brings the message of God to you and you benefit from it and by benefitting from it, you are organizing your life according to the will of the Creator, not the will of the Prophet. We need to understand how the circle goes.
Comment: The concept of prophethood makes it necessary to believe in a Creator, they introduce the idea of a Creator to you, so you can be confident about it.
The Necessity of Existence of a Creator makes sense to you after you hear the message from the Prophets. PLEASE note–That is not religion!!!
Comment: Deist is a person who believes in God. If they do not accept Prophethood, how did they get there?
They do not accept Prophethood to organize their lives according to the message the Prophet brings to them. They do not accept the Prophet as the one who introduces the organization of how we should live our lives and benefit from our human qualities according to the will or purpose of their existence which is established by the Creator and use their abilities to understand the Creator better. That is why believing in the existence of God does not necessarily mean that it makes up a religion.
- I will use the universe as a source of evidence to understand the Creator rather than following the guiding teachings of the Prophets. That is D
Between my human qualities and what I see in the universe, there are fundamental contradictions. If you take up the instruction of Messengership, then you can fulfill the purpose in your existence. Only after that, you can make yourself a perfect human being if you follow the instructions from the Prophet as required by your human qualities. But, hearing from the culture that God exists as initially introduced by the Prophet, (which does make sense to you and you cannot deny it) makes you skip the stage of realizing the need for the institution of Messengership. That is why people believe in God, not the Prophets, although they benefit from the message of the Prophet initially.
- They do not benefit from the message of the Prophet to organize their lives ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE IN THEIR EXISTENCE which is established by the Creator. It needs training under the instruction of Messengership.
- Do you follow this? Never miss this!
Apparently, it seems very clear that we must believe in the Prophet and we must benefit from the teachings, however, just believing in a Prophet may miss the concept of believing in a Creator. Without having the concept of God, how can you believe in a Creator?
Speak to anyone who has not been introduced to the concept of God. It is very hard to understand it because they are used to following a certain way of understanding life. The concept of God does not make sense to them. If you get out of the cultural understanding of the universe and life, then understanding happens because we are mostly so indoctrinated with understanding the material way of life and entertaining ourselves until the ending which is death!! However, when we seriously question our existence, every human being understands the reality of the purpose in their existence.
Comment: One does not need religion to conclude that there must be a Creator. In this context, by religion, I mean what do I do with my existence as in there must be a Creator. Basically, by religion, I mean how do I go on living in this universe under the instruction of God presented to me through the Prophets?
That is what is called “religion”. Otherwise, to believe in God is NOT “religion”. Although, it is not useless, it is the beginning. We hear from the Prophet that whoever believes in God, ultimately, s/he will be saved. We are not putting anyone in Hell. We are trying to understand which kind of life we should live in this world and why do we need Messengership and for what purpose?
- What am I going to do with the existence of Messengership and instruction of God?
How to use primarily the universe, myself (human qualities) and solve the problem (i.e. analyze my human expectations and what the universe presents to me)? The universe is meaningful but ultimately meaningless. It is mysterious, and I do not know what I am going to do with it.
- The contradiction between human expectations and what the universe presents is not a simple thing!
- Universe says: “that I am purposeful in my existence and you cannot explain the purpose in my existence by referring it to myself”. None of the parts of the universe has any quality to follow a purpose, they all are subject to the purposefully made order by a Conscious Being. They have no freewill anyways. Some people may claim “nature” has it. But “nature” is nothing more than the universe itself. It is nothing but a term which refers the universe to itself
Human beings need perfection and eternally satisfied human needs at the perfect level. The universe says: “Sorry, I cannot provide this perfect Eternal life for you.” What am I going to do then? The universe says: “I do not know. Go to Hell”. The Creator comes to our aid and says: “I can teach you what to do with yourself and this universe, to which I gave existence, through my messengers.” That is how the Absolute Being comes in and instructs us what to do. We see that there are Prophets in creation who come with this message of instructing us what to do with ourselves (human qualities) and the universe, which is the message of God.
- We must heed to what they say and listen to them.
- If the messengers make sense to us, then we will heed, otherwise we will reject them
Deism is the major practice in the world. Some people who are called “Muslims” claim that “We believe in God, Islam is not a corrupt religion and Muhammad was the Messenger of God”. Religion is a serious matter!!! How seriously do we take the existence of the Messenger in our lives? We imitate him physically but not the belief teachings of the message.
Comment: Deism still retain a materialistic philosophy as their life guidance.
It means I must perfect my life and make myself happy in this universe without attributing myself and my human qualities to Its Creator and identifying my human qualities in terms of Its manifested qualities. That is the connection which the Prophet teaches you, so how are you going to keep the balance there? The balance between: “Yes, He is the Creator, He is the Source of everything (including my human qualities) and I have also human qualities. These are my properties given by God and how am I going to use them according to my own life experiences?”
Everyone looks at the matter from his own perspective. Everyone follows his own interest and materialist people are not ashamed of saying that if everyone follows their own common benefit, then welcome. That is the very basic understanding of materialistic civilization established by them. Follow your own material benefit. If you work harder, you cultivate 100-acre land. “If I cultivate 200-acre land, I benefit from it and the common wealth of that region increases. So, follow your interest, common wealth will develop”. It looks reasonable, does not it? Most of the world is based on this understanding. One may say s/he is Muslim or belongs to a certain religion, but s/he may really be a “capitalist” in his/her lives following their own interests.
- God says the following through the message sent through the Prophet: “I gave you all these senses to acknowledge Me not to satisfy your temporary egoistic approach or understanding.”
- “I gave you these senses to connect yourself to Me while you are practicing and be more and more conscious of My Presence in your existence, that is religion”.
If you do not take the acknowledgment of the Creator into the account of your life, then you become a Pharaoh (egoistic satisfaction). That is why materialist people do charitable activities which is a self-satisfaction mechanism, rather than a means of acknowledging the Creator because they do not accept Prophetic leadership or instruction.
Comment: Acknowledgment needs to be in the Existence of a Creator.
How can you acknowledge God without acknowledging the Existence of the Creator?
We can still come to the logical conclusion that there must be a Creator. The interpreter was necessary to convey and elaborate the orderliness in existence which helps me recognize the qualities of that Creator, not just His existence.
How do you recognize the qualities of the Creator if you do not use your human qualities?
It is not possible. That is why we must educate ourselves first. If we do not educate people one by one personally, then how can we expect that they must act justly because their Creator is a Just One? This sense of Justice is a means of acknowledging the Creator’s qualities and attributing your sense of justice to the Absolute Just God.
- If you do not establish the above personally, then how can you establish justice in the society?
Learning what is Justice and how am I going to manage Justice needs Prophetic teaching.
- If my sense of Justice is defined or interpreted by me according to my expectations, then can I be just? I will take part for my benefit. I will say that this is Justice because my understanding will be around my own interest area.
- How can you educate me? Taking the sense of Justice and attributing it to the Absolute-Judge, so you are an agent of the Creator, the Source of Existence of the sense of Justice in your life, hence you cannot use Justice according to your own interest, rather according to the teachings of the Prophet because he is the one who introduces to you that these senses are given to you to understand that the Creator is the Absolute Just.
The Prophets are the only ones who teach the above, none of the Philosophers did that in history. They say try to be just, not selfish. Those philosophers who benefit from the teachings of the prophets are exempt from the above general statement.
- Only by attaching your sense of anything (Justice in this example) to the Creator, can you tame yourself i.e. your actions will not be interest oriented interpretation of Justice.
- The sense of Justice or any other sense has nothing to do with you because you are an agent of the Creator and you must act according to the Will of the Creator of the sense of Justice (for example) within you. You can learn that through the Prophet only.
- If we do not have the concept of Prophethood, we can never have religion. Culture says that Muhammad is the Prophet, so we just follow his practice without training our human senses. This training of human senses, under the instructorship of Prophet through the message they received from God, (the training) needs work. Not many people do that. Nowadays not many people teach how to use human qualities to know God. We call it “belief education”.
Nowadays, it is not common to teach the belief aspect of any matter. We just say that we are doing the rituals, that is what we heard, without connecting our existence to God and being aware of it. Not many people are undergoing this belief training among the most common religions in the world.
Comment: If a created being must have a potential to convey the message or meaningfulness to me from the Original Source itself, then that should help me.
Who can help you? By definition, only the Prophets can help you. Only the ones who are employed by the Creator, not you and me. I do not think that I am employed. I have no sign of it.
Comment: If I say that the Prophet is not employed but just someone who interpreted things to his understanding, just for argument sake, then it will have to be with lots of discrepancies in his message and would be interest oriented, which would be relative justice.
If Muhammad introduced what he told people by himself, then he must be interest oriented person. Main characteristics of the Prophets is not to get any benefits from what they are teaching apparently. They say that “I received message from God”. I do not know. No one knows. We will look at his personal life and see if there is any interest-oriented attitude (personal, status, tribal, family, national interest…). Do we get that? We must look at what he is getting out of it.
Comment: What about the possibility of everyone being a Prophet? If that communication can be established between a created being and the Creator, then why limit it to a certain created being and not all.
Let us go back to our fundamental discussion. Potentially, everyone can represent God’s will on earth, that is why we are called “caliph” (representatives of God). It does not mean that their abilities are developed under the instruction of God so that they can present it. When you say, everyone can be a Prophet, it means through their potential qualities, yes. The potential capacity of the Prophet was not more than you and me but when it comes to abilities, the Prophet himself says and the Quran confirms it: “We train you and educate you.”
- It means that We (the Source of your Existence) turned your potentialities into abilities under Our instruction.
Do you get the instruction from your Creator on how to use your potentialities within you? We need a teacher to get this potentiality out into practical life. In our daily life, we go to school to learn. The teacher of the Prophets is the Creator, that is why the special mission must be given to them. People who do not want to associate themselves with any belief system do not understand that the teacher of the Prophets is the Creator.
Greek Philosophers challenge the notion of Messengership and they did not acknowledge any Prophets. Even people coming from a Muslim background under the influence of Greek Philosophy claim that we can make our own religion. Their writings (as living and aware human beings) by living in an Island and observing the surroundings concludes that there must be a Creator and the Creator must have some kinds of qualities. These Philosophers do not make use of the teachings of the Prophets. Rationally, believe in God make sense to any human being and their books is written as a challenge to the need of the Prophet. They encourage that we do not need Prophets as human beings as we can find the truth by ourselves. This is an important subject. We must organize our thinking with fine tuning. Do not miss any point, follow step by step!
- THINK: Why cannot we have religion (organizing human life on earth) without subjecting ourselves to the instruction of a Prophet?
Recap: There must be an institution of Messengership. The Creator must train someone and get him ready to convey the message under His instruction, the Creator must do that, otherwise the human mind and life will be thrown into meaninglessness and chaos. Civilization follows humanitarianism. They take care of people who are in need materially and only temporarily. Ultimately, every community is after its own interest. They do some sacrifices, and no one is saying that they should not. Human qualities are given to us is the fact, whether we use it in the name of God or my own name to feel great, does not matter. You do some sort of good actions, not the perfect action which fits human capacity perfectly. Not everyone is completely corrupt. We cannot say that I have seen a man who is 100% corrupt. A man may be using his human qualities only partially in the right way without making a Divine connection but human beings cannot find a way to satisfy their essential needs for eternal happiness. They do something nice but cannot establish the best society by themselves. If someone says that I am following the Prophetic teachings, then that does not mean that by reading the hadiths and applying it literally, you are educating yourself according to the Prophetic teachings. The fundamental belief teachings of the Quran, the Prophet demonstrates them in his life according to his life conditions as a human being, otherwise human societies cannot really save themselves from falling into chaos. For the moment, we do not see any chaos in the world, you may think. Which national state does not give priority to its own interest? Can you show one? That is impossible and that is chaos. Everyone is fighting for their own interest according to the power they have impose on other nations.
Comment: We are defining self-interest by attributing everything to your own self and satisfying our egoistic desires.
That is why you cannot get out of chaotic life if you keep doing that, life would be chaotic.
Comment: Whereas, we are saying that if I focus on my existence i.e. I am given existence and I want to know the reason why I am given existence, in other words, what do I make out this existence? Isn’t that a personal, self-interest too?
Yes, it is expected of you because it is the way you are created, then you are following the truth in order not to deviate yourself from the truth. That is your personal interest, but you do it to follow the true way, not to satisfy your worldly egoistic benefits. You believe in God and the Messenger and message, yes that is for your benefit. It does not mean that material civilization follows their interest to know the truth. Everyone will be responsible for himself, God says in the Quran. Take care of your responsibility which means to a limited understanding: “I must be selfish to save myself not to fall into mistake, and make my life chaotic i.e. I must reach peace in my existence”, that is why I am following the Prophet, that is why I acknowledge the existence of God, that is why I attribute my feelings to their Creator, Source of existence of these feelings which is the Creator of the universe, that is why I am doing that. It does not mean that in my private life, I am interacting with the world and people to fulfill and make my worldly interest higher and better. My interest in acknowledging God is no different than my interest in my relationship with human beings and social life and other beings, which is mostly use for exploitation of human weakness without Prophetic guidance.
- That is why we must adjust our lives accordingly i.e. how am I treating creation, how am I treating other people, how am I really treating the society I belong to? The Prophet teaches us that. That is why we need the Prophetic teachings i.e. God’s instructions.
Comment: Anything that is without Divine connection is a self-interest act but at the end of the day it is still self-interest to fulfill the purpose of my existence.
Quran uses words such as whims, corrupt purposes to describe self-interest or injustice. Not treating other people around you as you are supposed to do is possible only under the instructions of the Prophets. You cannot avoid your interaction with the universe. We can make the distinction easily that I must fulfill my responsibility by interacting with the universe by bearing in mind that nothing essentially belongs to me.
How can we make sure that a person who is called Muhammad at our time is a Prophet?
- The foundation is that we need Prophet and there must be a profession of Prophethood, otherwise the universe would be meaningless for us.
Comment: Regardless of the action, whims refer to your feelings, not necessarily what you are going to do. Example: drinking alcohol can be described as a whim?
What attitude do you have while performing an action? If you drink a little bit of red vine, it is going to benefit your health and you are not going to get drunk. That attitude is not the result of whims and oppression. “I do not drink alcohol because my Creator gave me the opportunity to practically demonstrate its Ownership over everything (what I learned through the Prophet) that every drink is Its property and by not drinking alcohol, I put this acknowledgment into physical life practice”. I must practice this i.e. my physical life must also practice it. I understand that God is Supreme, and my physical life also practice this acknowledgment by going into prostration because I am practicing everything in physical terms. I do not only utter that “God is Gracious, the One who nourishes me…” but I practice that physically, when I eat food.
The best example of physically practicing our acknowledgment of the Owner of the universe in the Quran is given through the analogy of the story of Adam. He was in Paradise and he was not responsible for any physical practice. In Paradise, we are not responsible for remembering something, putting it into practice and making it a part of our physical life as well. Adam was asked not to approach one tree (that was a physical instruction i.e. do not approach this tree) and the whole action was the beginning of his becoming a human being. That was a physical instruction i.e. do not approach this tree. Paradise is described as an endless forest.
- In the example of Adam, he approached any tree and wanted to get one fruit from it and asked if it is the one that is prohibited, that is physically practicing his connection to God. That is what we are doing, when we do not drink alcohol.
When you ask, what is this? “Oh, it is cherry juice”. Was I conscious that this is not vine practically speaking? We are living in this world physically, that is why we must follow physical instructions of the Prophet. We cannot say that I am a spiritual being; I believe in God and submit to Him. Your submission to God according to what? That does not mean religion! Practically, what are you doing? That is why Prophet brings the message to teach people what is missing i.e. belief training.
Torah came with ten commandments. Torah does not consist of ten commandments only. Even the physical instruction of the Quran makes up 3 % of the Quran and it is there which means that we must practice it (pray, fast, avoid gambling, killing…) but with consciousness.
- Similarly, benefit from all animals but swine. That is a yardstick for me i.e. if I eat something, I say is this bacon? Again, consuming everything in the name of the Creator of the universe. Physical instructions are included in the teachings of the Prophets.
A REMINDER
O brothers and sisters! If Prophethood, which is the lesser of the two proofs for the existence of the Maker, namely the institution of Prophethood and the Prophethood of Muhammad, has been inscribed on the page of your minds, then we can proceed with the greater one, that is, the Prophethood of Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings.
Our minds are ready to study Prophethood of Muhammad now. If we were created 3000 years ago, we would be talking about Prophethood of Moses, 2000 years ago, Prophethood of Jesus and now in this day and age, we are talking about Muhammad.
